    Comedian calls Irwin ‘freak show’ on TV

    Comedian Fiona O’Loughlin has been criticised over comments she made on ABC program Spicks and Specks that referred to Bindi Irwin as “creepy” and a “freak show”.

    The Alice Springs-based comedian was slammed by viewers and fellow panellists after she mocked the 11-year-old daughter of late wildlife TV host Steve Irwin on the show, which aired on Wednesday night.

    During an impersonation of Bindi, O’Loughlin described the girl as being “a bit creepy” and mimed slapping her in the face, the Herald Sun reported.

    Fellow guest Chris Durling had performed with Bindi’s Crocmen, and defended the child star, saying “what you see is what you get”.
